We understand that having a destination wedding comes with our guests having lots of questions. We have answered many of the questions you may have below, but if you still have questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Thank you for your cooperation as we bring our dream wedding to life all while making sure our guests have a memorable experience as well.

Q&A

What will the weather be like?

As October comes to a close, Romans advise dressing in layers to adapt to the fluctuating temperatures. Mornings and evenings can be quite chilly, while afternoons may warm up to a pleasant 78 degrees. Expect lows to drop to around 50 degrees, so be prepared! Additionally, Rome's unpredictable weather means a light raincoat is a wise addition to your packing list. Stay comfortable and ready for anything during your visit!

Where should I stay?

Please view the Accommodations page, our wedding planner has helped provide several hotel options nearby the venue. You can use our booking link to use our discounted rate for the designated dates. You may also book your accommodations elsewhere that suit your needs! Please let us know if you have any questions or issues.

Can I bring my kids? â€‹

While we would love to have your children celebrate with us, we want you to please note - our wedding is going to be an elegant adult evening filled with alcohol, dancing, and lot's of adult language. If you do not wish to have your children exposed, we encourage you to find childcare. â€‹We understand you may want to make this trip a family affair and we have been working with our wedding planner to provide some different options that we have listed below.

Private Babysitting Service:

If you plan on bringing your kids along on the trip but would prefer to not bring them to the wedding, you can hire a private babysitter for the evening. Our lovely wedding planner has recommended the website Sitly to hire a babysitter, she has used this site many times for her own children and says it works beautifully. We have linked the website below.

I still want to bring my children to the wedding:

If you plan on bringing your children, please fill out our pulse survey to let us know their name and age.

This will let us know how many children's meals we need to include in our contract and depending on how many young children we have attending, we may set up a children's activity table in the back.

We do kindly ask that if your children are present during any of our special moments, such as the ceremony, speeches, first dances, etc. and they start to get fussy, that you please take your child and exit the room quietly.

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out. We thank you for your cooperation as we try to bring our dream wedding to life while still accommodating our guests who are traveling across the world for us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Absolutely, we want you to bring the person you want to see the beautiful sights of Rome with.

Make sure to click the plus one on your RSVP to let us know.

When should I fly in?

The wedding festivities will begin on the evening of Saturday, October 25, 2025.

When you want to arrive is completely up to you! We encourage our guests to make a trip out of this event and spend a couple of extra days to explore the city of Rome and nearby cities. The happy couple will be arriving sometime earlier in the week to prepare and see more beautiful sites around Italy!

When and how do I RSVP?

A formal invitation will come your way with specific instructions on how to RSVP and your deadline.

Please respect our deadline and RSVP in a timely fashion.

I thought I already RSVP'd when I received the Save the Date?

When we sent out the Save the Date, we included a QR code for a pulse survey to get an initial estimate of our guests’ attendance. This survey is not the formal RSVP; it simply helps us gauge how many guests plan to attend our wedding. Your feedback is valuable as we finalize contracts with our vendors.

Please remember to fill out the formal RSVP when it arrives!

What if I have a dietary requirement?

We will have a space in the formal RSVP for you to provide any allergies and/or dietary restrictions you may have.

We will do our best to work with our vendor to accommodate.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Absolutely! The bar will be open with plenty of options to choose from.

The drinks are on us, but your hangover is on you. Please drink responsibly!

What should I wear?

Please see our Details page for more information.

You can find our wedding color palette to avoid and a linked Pinterest board for some Semi-Formal attire inspiration.

Can I take photos?

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We'd love to see our guests laughing, crying, and enjoying the day—not photos obscured by phones. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

Before and after the Ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like.

Where can I find the photos afterward?

Once we receive all our photos back from the photographer, we will provide a link on our website for you to download. We will send out communications when they are ready to be viewed!

How long will the wedding last?

Once we have finalized all the details, you can find a breakdown of the timeline on the Details page.

Italian weddings typically last longer than American weddings, so be prepared to be celebrating with us from around 5:00pm until midnight. There will be lots of drinks, food, dancing, and more!

Will there be a Registry?

The biggest gift you can give to us is traveling across the world to spend our special day with us. We are not asking for any gifts, however we will be creating a Registry for those who would like to get us something or for those who can not attend and would still like to show their love and support. We will have various options to choose from.

Our Registry is still a work in progress and will go live when the formal invitation goes out.
